I loved the laid back vibe of the island, with no cars and extremely friendly people. Absolutely no hassle from vendors. We felt very welcome, the room was comfortable, breakfast was good. It is a shared bathroom, which we had not noticed, but great value for the price. Owner arranged boat to take us to Nubian Village which is mainly a market but very pretty.

-Beautiful view from the rooftop overlooking the Nile River on the quiet side of Elphantine Island (much more peaceful than staying in Aswan) -spacious room -accommodating host and owner (My luggage was lost in Cairo, and the owner arranged for it to be picked up from the airport, for a fee. I appreciated this because my plans and excursions for the days I spent there were uninterrupted by the huge convenience of having to retrieve my bag.) -Hamed, the owner, also arranged pick up from the airport to the island as well as a day trip for my husband and I to go to Abu Simbel. -basic breakfast included -multiple tasty restaurants on the island make dinner easy- do not have to go across The Nile.

Saeed and Hamad were very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. The accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. There is a great view from the rooftop. The wifi is fast.

one of the quietest place in Aswan, on the west side of Elephantine Island, with nice voew from the terrasse. Saïd is very quiet too, very fireendly and flexible, and accept to arrange breakfast at any time. A good breakfast by the way, with some cheese.

This is a wonderful place. for the location and price I think it’s the hidden gem of accommodation in Aswan. The location is fantastic, it’s super quiet and peaceful but only a quick 5 pound boat ride across the river to the city. The room was super comfortable, great working AC, Wi-Fi, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. But the best part is the view. sunset here is amazing. The staff and owner are so helpful and friendly. Sa’id is such a nice guy and fun to chat with. He arranged breakfast and dinners for me my whole stay. Nothing is better than an amazing Egyptian dinner watching the sunset from the rooftop here. everything about my stay here as great. I can’t wait to return. for the price this is such a great place to stay. highly recommended!
